If any defects are found they will be coded accurately following the best guidance from all governing bodies such as NICEIC, ECA, Napit, Electrical Safety First etc to provide fair and reasonable grading of the defects and not automatically failing tests for the simplest of issues as other companies appear to do.

We have been carrying out electrical testing for Workspace sites for over 20 years and are the preferred supplier as we provide accurate testing and provide the clearest results to fully meet Workspace requirements so that tenants have a smooth transfer at the end of their leases without any last minute issues

Process:

Provide basic details including (name, company, billing address, site address for test, size of unit in square feet (or square metres), laving date, preferred test date)

We can then provide a cost for the test - once agreed, we will request prior payment and then can schedule for the best appointment time, then complete the test and provide the results via email in pdf format

Q&A:

How long will my EICR test take?

On average, an EICR inspection takes one to four hours. The length of the test depends on the size of the property, the accessibility of electrical systems and the number of electrical equipment

What is done during an EICR?

Similar to an MOT on a car for example, it involves the testing and inspection of the electrical system to determine if it safe for continued use and to identify if there are any issues which would usually be graded with regard to safety, such as Code 1 for immediately dangerous, Code 2 for Potentially Dangerous, Code 3 for Not to the Regulations but not particularly dangerous etc

What if my test fails?

Lots of tests pass without issue and lots that have some issues may still pass if the issues are minor, but if there are any Code 1 & 2 or those which require Further Investigation then we can usually provide a fixed quote to resolve these issues and can often find the most cost effective solution
